Goldによる根管形成を評価することを目的とし,根管切削時間と根管壁変位量との関係をWaveOneと比較検討した.材料と方法:実験にはJ型エポキシレジン製透明彎曲根管模型各70本を使用した.各実験群は,ProGliderによるグライドパス形成後にWaveOne GoldおよびWaveOneによる根管形成を行った.切削効率の比較はWaveOne GoldのSmall,Primary,Medium & Largeファイル群の3群に分類し,各群においてWaveOneの同名ファイル(Small,Primary,Large)を対照として比較した.切削効率の測定は,根管形成前後の透明彎曲根管模型を重ね合わせ,その差異を実体顕微鏡Olympus SZX16およびデジタルカメラDP71を用いて撮影し,さらに計測用ソフトWinRoofを使用して計測を行い根管壁変位量とした.さらに,根管形成所要時間についても比較した.結果:WaveOne GoldとWaveOneの根管壁切削量を彎曲根管内彎側と外彎側で測定した結果,Small,Primary両ファイル群で有意差が認められなかった.さらに,WaveOne Gold Medium,LargeとWaveOne Largeファイルとを比較した結果においても有意差が認められなかった.WaveOne Goldの根管形成時間はWaveOne Goldよりも短縮されSmallで20%減少,Primaryで40%減少,MediumおよびLargeで30%減少することが示された.結論:G-wireを用いたNi-TiシングルファイルWaveOne
